CSIR NET application deadline has been extended till 17th April 2023. The application correction window will remain active from 19th to 25th April 2023. Recently, NTA released the CSIR NET 2023 official Notification. CSIR NET June 2023 is combined with CSIR NET December 2022 will be conducted from 6th to 8th June 2023. The online CSIR NET Application Form is available from 10th March 2023. CSIR NET (National Eligibility Test) is a national-level examination conducted by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) to select eligible candidates for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship positions. The exam is conducted twice a year in the months of June and December. The exam is meant for candidates who wish to pursue research in various fields of Science, including Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Earth Sciences.
The exam is conducted in online mode and consists of two parts: Part A and Part B. Part A is a common aptitude test that contains questions related to General Science, Quantitative Reasoning and Analysis, and Research Aptitude. Part B is subject-specific and consists of questions related to the chosen subject. The exam is of three hours duration, and there is negative marking for wrong answers.

The NTA has extended the last date to apply for CSIR NET 2023 (December 2022 & June 2023 merged cycles). Candidates can now apply online till 17th April 2023.

CSIR NET 2023 notification has been released and application form can be filled by aspirants for 10th March 2023 to 17th April 2023. All eligible candidates who wish to appear for the exam must fill and submit the CSIR NET application form before the last date. Candidates are advised to submit their form before the last date to avoid last minute hustle.
Candidates who are applying for the exam must pay an application fees to submit the form. Those who fail to pay the application fee before the last date of application, their application forms will be rejected. The CSIR NET exam is conducted by NTA twice a year and for the June 2023 exam, notification and CSIR NET exam date have been released, and candidates can fill up the application form. The exam for June will be conducted on 6 June 2023 and continue till 8 June 2023 as given in the official notification released by NTA.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the admit card. Candidates who want to take the CSIR NET 2023 exam must first learn how to download the admit card. Only the official website must be used to download the CSIR NET Admit Card. The candidates who will be attending the 2023 exam can follow the steps as mentioned below to download the admit card.
Step 1: Visit the official website of CSIR NET.
Step 2: Select the ‘CSIR NET Admit Card Download’. Type in your credentials like Application No. and Date of Birth/Password.
Step 3: Click on the submit button and the applicant's CSIR Admit card will be available.
Step 4: Download the admit card and take 1 or 2 printouts for further use.
The answer key is released by NTA after a few days of exam, candidates can check the answer key and calculate the marks. Candidates can also raise objections on wrong questions in the answer key released. The steps to download the CSIR NET Answer Key are as follows:

NTA will release the CSIR NET cut-off after the completion of the exams. The Agency will publish the cut-off marks for both Junior Research Fellowship and Lectureship/Assistant Professor tests. You have to score the minimum cut-off in the respective exams to rank in the final merit list. Here are the previous years’ cut off which you can refer to estimate the CSIR NET 2023 cut-off.
CSIR NET results are released after a few days of the examination. Candidates who qualify in the JRF merit list will also be eligible for the Lectureship/Assistant Professor fellowship. As per the notification, there shall be no re-evaluation of the CSIR NET result. Here is how you can check the results.

Step 2: On the notification section, you will see the link for “CSIR NET result 2023”.
Step 3: Click on this link and you will be redirected to the results page.
Step 4: Select either “CSIR NET JRF Result” or “CSIR NET LS Result” as per your preference.
Step 5: A new window will pop up which will have the roll numbers of those candidates who have been selected for the respective fellowships.
Candidates who have qualified for the exam and received JRF or Assistant Professor post need to have a CSIR NET certificate which is released by NTA. Candidates preparing for the next CSIR NET 2023 Exam should be familiar with the exam's selection process. The exam is required for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship accreditation (LS). If you qualify for JRF, you will be eligible for a research fellowship as well as assistant professorships in Indian colleges and universities; if you only qualify for LS (Lectureship), you will be eligible to apply for teaching positions, such as assistant professorships in Indian colleges and universities. The first stage of the selection process is submitting an online application. Interested candidates can fill the application form on the official website of CSIR. Only bonafide Indian citizens are eligible for these fellowships. However, there are two other eligibility criteria that you will have to fulfill before applying for the exam. You have to make sure that you meet the educational qualification and age limit to become eligible for this fellowship.
